A program organized by CeNDTeC, was held from 8th to 10th May 2023. The program, ASNT Penetrant Testing Level 2 was conducted at Fluid Mechanics Laboratory, Faculty of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) Johor. A total of 30 Mechanical Engineering students were selected from various programs in the faculty. This program was fully sponsored by KPT-PACE, Ministry of Higher Learning (KPT). The instructor is certified ASNT Level 3 NDT practitioner, En Mohd Aris Fathillah bin Saleh from Arena Laksana Enterprise.

During the course, students were exposed to theoretical knowledge about the basic concept of Penetrant Testing, one of the methods in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), and others important term. They have also been taught in how to practice the method with various types of samples including plates and pipes sample. Upon completion the contact hours and passing the theoretical and practical exam, Certificate of Proficiency have been issued to all 30 participants. Congratulations and hopefully this program can be continued in the future.
