Centre for NDT Training and Calibration (CeNDTeC) successfully organized the second training course in Ultrasonic Testing Thickness Measurement (UTTM) for 27 students from 9th to 11th May 2024. The training was conducted first time at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, Parit Raja, Johor with the collaboration of several parties including Pusat Pembelajaran Berterusan dan APEL (PPBA) and Arena Laksana Enterprise as the Training Provider which certified the level 2 competency certification.

Students from various background were so excited and full of enthusiasm in joining the course. They came from different programs which are from Program in Mechanical Engineering (BDD), Program in Engineering Technology (Aircraft Maintenance) (BDM), Program in Engineering Technology (Plant) (BDJ) and Program in Vocational Education (Welding and Metal Fabrication) (BBD). Two speakers led by Ir Dr Eliza Binti M. Yusup, assisted by AP Ir Dr Shahrul Azmir B. Osman delivered training including theory and practical sessions about the method of UTTM. The 3-day course was completed successfully with all candidates passing the theoretical and practical examination.
