Site Visit to Ruane Tati and Terengganu Safety Training Centre

A group of UTHM students and professionals recently visited Ruane Tati and Terengganu Safety Training Centre on 6 june 2024 at Kemaman, Terengganu to explore their comprehensive safety training programs. The visit began with a tour of Ruane Tati, where participants were introduced to the facility's state-of-the-art equipment and training modules. The center's experts provided practical demonstrations on various Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques, including ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), and dye penetrant testing (DP). These sessions highlighted the critical role of NDT in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of industrial components.

At the Terengganu Safety Training Centre, the group observed hands-on training sessions focused on occupational safety and health. The participants engaged in interactive workshops covering topics such as fire safety, first aid, and hazard management. They also had the opportunity to participate in simulated emergency scenarios, which enhanced their understanding of practical safety measures in real-world situations.

Overall, the visit offered valuable insights into both centres' rigorous safety training practices.
