This is the first training ever conducted at UTP with collaborated organizations including Mechanical Engineering Department (ME), Digital Analytics for Structural Integrity Technology (DASIT); both from UTP, Arena Laksana Enterprise; the Training Provider and Centre for NDT Training and Calibration (CeNDTeC) from UTHM.

Two speakers were appointed for 3-day training including examination which includes theoretical and practical session, named Ir Dr Eliza Binti M Yusup and AP Ir Dr Shahrul Azmir Osman. The training was held at UTP with 25 participants which were registered from three different Institution of Higher Learning (IHL). They are Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) and Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA).

Majority are students, and several participants are lecturer and Research Assistance. All participants passed all assessments with General and Specific session, and practical session with 2 samples each. With that, they are all qualified with Level 2 inspector in Ultrasonic Testing Thickness Measurement by American Society for Non-Destructive Testing (ASNT): SNT-TC-1A (2020) and could pursue to practice their knowledge and gain an industrial experience in the relevant field.
