About Training :
Ultrasonic testing or in short UT is a non-destructive testing (NDT) method that uses ultrasonic waves to pass through a material or object. Ultrasonic waves are high-frequency waves that are passed through different substances to find flaws or detecting variations in them. Ultrasonic testing applications can utilize frequencies up to 50 MHz but mostly these frequencies are limited to 0.1 to 15 MHz in these applications.
Suitable for :
This course is suitable for all personnel including students, lecturers, testers, inspectors, engineers, and surveyors who require a comprehensive introduction to ultrasonic testing of welded joints.
Duration :
3 days include training, practical and examination day.

About Training
Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) is one of the non-destructive testing (NDT) methods used for the detection of surface breaking imperfections. The Penetrant Testing method is based on the capilary action of liquids. It employs various chemical which must be used in accordance with a prescribed procedure. This method is known for its simplicity and relative effectiveness. It belongs to the group of conventional NDT methods.
Suitable for :
The course is suitable for all students, lecturers, NDT personnel, inspectors, and technicians engaged in or responsible for weld inspection, inspection of castings and forgings during fabrication or in-service inspection.
Duration :
3 days include training, practical and examination day.

About Training :
Magnetic particle inspection is an inspection method used to identify defects on the surface of ferromagnetic materials by running a magnetic current through it. It can also be used to detect defects just beneath the surface of materials. The types of defects it can detect include cracks, pores, cold laps and the lack of sidewall fusion in welds.
Magnetic particle inspection (MPI) is also commonly called magnetic particle testing (MT), magnetic testing, or particle inspection.
