About Training :
Eddy Current testing (ET) is one of several non- destructive testing methods that uses the electromagnetism principle for flaw detection in conductive materials. A specially designed coil energized with an A.C. is placed in close proximity to the inspection surface, generating a changing magnetic field that interacts with the inspection surface and produces eddy current in the vicinity.
Suitable for :
This course is suitable for NDT operator, inspector, or technician responsible for, or engaged in, practical application of eddy current testing and writing techniques and instructions for detection of flaws in cast and wrought product, material indentificaton/determination of properties, coating thickness measurement, tube testing and weld inspections.
Duration :
10 days training and practikal.
