About Training :

Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) is one of the non-destructive testing (NDT) methods used for the detection of surface breaking imperfections. The Penetrant Testing method is based on the capilary action of liquids. It employs various chemical which must be used in accordance with a prescribed procedure. This method is known for its simplicity and relative effectiveness. It belongs to the group of conventional NDT methods.

The course is suitable for all students, lecturers, NDT personnel, inspectors, and technicians engaged in or responsible for weld inspection, inspection of castings and forgings during fabrication or in-service inspection.
